About This Westby Housing Authority
The Westby Housing Authority provides low income housing for individuals who are 18 years or older. This is made possible through the management of Low Rent Public Housing, which is an income-based program. The eligibility guidelines for this program are set by HUD. However, there may be waiting lists for these rentals, and at times, the lists may close to new applicants based on their size and length. If you require housing assistance in the area, please contact the Housing Authority directly to learn more about eligibility requirements, the availability of rentals, the status of any waiting lists, and their application procedures. The program offers 20 one-bedroom apartments, each equipped with a refrigerator, stove, and window coverings. Additionally, there is a 24-hour on-call maintenance staff available for emergencies, and utilities are included in the rent except for cable hookup and telephone. The apartment complex features a sizable laundry room to make completing laundry easier, and mail is delivered inside the building to your private mailbox. The spacious community rooms provide a comfortable space to converse with other tenants, visitors, family, and friends. Parking is also available near the building for easy access. If you have pets, they are allowed with prior approval, and all requirements must be met. Lastly, the apartment complex has a security entrance system to ensure safety.
