About This Garden Village Apartments

The Garden Village Apartments is owned and operated by Ecumenical Housing Limited Partnership (EHLP), and managed by Ecumenical Enterprises, Inc. (EEI). Garden Village Apartments is supported by Sections 202 and 8 of the National Housing Act, which provide reduced rentals to elderly of extremely low and very low incomes. The complex contains 100 one-bedroom apartments. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:  All applicants must be 62 years of age or older, or in the case of a married couple, either spouse must be at least 62 or over.   Handicapped and disabled persons as identified by U.S. Department of HUD may also be eligible.  Individual or family income must be within the prescribed limits established by U.S. Department of HUD.   All applicants must accept the terms of a written lease and related building regulations as prescribed by EEI and U. S. Department of HUD. Final admission is based upon the above criteria without regard to race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status, or national origin. MONTHLY RENTALS: Rentals are based upon 30% of monthly income. EEI will be guided by the appropriate HUD regulations for receiving rent subsidies for the benefit of eligible tenants.
