About This Holiday Acres
Holiday Acres is a housing community situated on a 14-acre site across from the Elks Golf Course. It comprises of 20 buildings with a total of 150 apartments that have one, two, three, or four bedrooms. The apartments are available at affordable rates for individuals and families. To learn more about the low rent family housing with government-subsidized low-income rates, please contact Holiday Acres at (724) 539-7010 during business hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The apartments provide several amenities, such as water, sewage, and garbage services, along with range and refrigerator. The three and four-bedroom apartments come with private laundry rooms. Cable TV and ample closet space are also available, along with individual heat controls. Some units have heating and electric included in their rent. Additionally, the apartment buildings offer electronic access for added security. The community features at Holiday Acres include a community room, family service plan, convenient public transportation, off-street parking, on-site management and maintenance, 24-hour emergency maintenance, coin-operated washers and dryers, playgrounds, basketball court, walking trail, and a computer center. The summer lunch program is also available for residents. Holiday Acres accepts HUD subsidies, and if you qualify for low-income housing and they have available apartments, rent is based on 30% of your Adjusted Gross Income.
