About This Eggerts Crossing Village
The Eggerts Crossing Village is a residential community comprising of townhouses and garden apartments situated on 25 acres in Mercer County, New Jersey. It was the first subsidized rental housing development for families in Lawrence Township. The community offers a special Every Child Valued after school program for kids in grades K-6, which includes homework support, fine arts, and summer programs. The village consists of 100 family housing units, ranging from 1- to 5-bedroom townhouses that can accommodate both individuals and families. Out of these, 60 are rented at market rate, while the remaining 40 have a contract with HUD for subsidies. The income limit for households is determined annually by HUD. The community amenities include water, sewer, and trash removal utilities, on-site management and maintenance offices, 24-hour emergency maintenance services, beautifully landscaped surroundings, private patios in some units, an on-site laundry facility, community spaces for resident use, and parking spots available to residents. However, the Eggert's Crossing Village does not allow pets. The apartments accept HUD subsidies, and if you qualify for low-income housing and they have available units, the rent is based on 30% of your Adjusted Gross Income.
