About This Castleview Apartments
Castleview is a permanent supportive housing establishment that the Salvation Army has established in Rochester. It comprises of 32 apartments known as Castleview Apartments, with 16 units designated for homeless and disabled people, while the other 16 units are available to low-income tenants. All the apartments are designed for single adults and are efficiency units. Castleview is a mixed supportive and low-income housing establishment, with homeless and disabled individuals residing in supportive housing units, while low-income housing units accommodate other tenants.
How to apply
Public housing is a form of housing tenure in which the property is usually owned by a government
authority, either central or local. The federal Housing and Urban Development (HUD) department
addressed concerns of distressed properties and blighted superblocks with revitalization and funding
projects for the renewal of public housing to decrease its density and allow for tenants with mixed
income levels.
