Due to the pressing need for secure and reasonably-priced rental housing options for disabled individuals and their families, Community Housing Alternatives was established. Over time, their mission has grown to include a program that helps individuals achieve permanent home ownership. Community Housing Alternatives strives to form partnerships with others to aid in creating and maintaining affordable housing throughout Washtenaw county.
