This apartment complex provides affordable housing for individuals with low income. The owner receives direct funding from the government, allowing them to offer reduced rent prices for those who qualify. All properties owned by Mr. Findleys, including Sommer Place Apartments, Lynn Haven Acres, Summit, and Guardian, receive funding from various government programs such as USDA Section 515 loans and HUD project-based Section 8 rental assistance. Hurlock Village and Rambler do not offer rental assistance, but gladly accept tenants with Section 8 tenant-based vouchers. All of our properties are funded through USDA Section 515 Interest Credit loans, and applicants must meet Rural Developments income limits for their specific county. We accept Housing Choice Vouchers and HUD subsidies. For those who qualify for low-income housing and apartments are available, rent is based on 30% of their Adjusted Gross Income.
