About This Harford County Housing Agency
The Harford County Housing & Community Development department is dedicated to providing affordable housing options for low to moderate income residents of the county. They manage a variety of programs that are funded by the federal, state, and county governments. These programs include opportunities for affordable home ownership, loans and grants for special needs housing programs, rental assistance, renter protection, first-time homebuyer assistance, housing preservation, foreclosure prevention, economic mobility, family self-sufficiency, and financial literacy. Their goal is to offer housing and supportive services to low-income families, seniors, and individuals with disabilities so that they can become self-sufficient and productive members of their community.
