This means that you will need to fill out an application and meet income limits based on the number of adults and dependent children in your household. Full-time student restrictions apply. Please note that these units are first come first serve, and we do not process applications until we have all the necessary items. A $35 application fee per adult (or per couple, if married) applies. To qualify for the Housing Program, you must not exceed maximum gross household annual income limits. These limits vary based on the size of your family. You will need to provide proof of income and assets for all household members, including any income from sources such as S.S.I., Social Security, K-TAP, and child support. You will also need to provide documentation such as ID, Social Security cards, and birth certificates for all household members. In addition, we will require the last six weeks of pay stubs, copies of any court-ordered documents such as separation or custody agreements, and verification of eligibility for new service from LG&E. Please note that we will perform a credit check and statewide criminal background check. No prior evictions are allowed unless you can provide proof of payment. How to apply

Public housing is a form of housing tenure in which the property is usually owned by a government authority, either central or local. The federal Housing and Urban Development (HUD) department addressed concerns of distressed properties and blighted superblocks with revitalization and funding projects for the renewal of public housing to decrease its density and allow for tenants with mixed income levels.
