About This Bethel Community Apartments
Bethel Community is an attractive three-story apartment complex located in Rushville, Indiana. It offers thirty studio and one-bedroom apartments for individuals aged 62 or mobility-impaired with lower incomes. Rent is determined by the income level, age, and disability guidelines set by the Department of Housing and Urban Development. Eligible residents only pay 30% of their adjusted gross income to cover rent and select utilities. The apartments in Bethel Community are well-maintained and come with appliances and carpet. Utilities such as electricity, water, and gas are included, except for cable TV, Internet, and phone services. The community provides handicap accessible entryways, common areas for social and recreational activities, wheelchair accessible apartments, attractive grounds, and on-site coin-operated laundry services. Residents have access to individually controlled heating and cooling units, computers for their use, and 24/7 on-call emergency maintenance. The apartments have been smoke-free since January 1, 2016. Bethel Community also features a newly constructed community room where residents can play gamess, use the Internet, and socialize in an open and naturally-lit setting. The apartment complex accepts HUD subsidies, and those who qualify for low-income housing can rent a one-bedroom apartment at 30% of their Adjusted Gross Income.
