About This Union County FL Housing Authority
The Union County Housing Authority manages Low Rent Public Housing to assist low income residents with housing. This program operates on an income-based system with eligibility requirements set by HUD. Due to high demand and lengthy wait times, there may be a waiting list for rentals. The Housing Authority can provide information on eligibility, availability, waitlist status, and application procedures. Their office hours are Monday - Thursday, 7:00am - 5:00pm. As of July 2011, they were accepting new applicants for One and Two Bedroom rentals, but the waiting lists for Three and Four Bedroom rentals were closed.
