About This Lafayette Housing Authority
The Auburn Housing Authority manages the Lafayette Housing Authority. The LHA assists low income residents in the region by managing Low Rent Public Housing. The LHA currently manages more than 100 apartments located in four different communities: Green Homes, Stephens Homes, Hilltop Apartments, and Jenkins Apartments. These housing options are based on income and HUD sets the eligibility requirements. There may be a waiting list for some of these apartments. The Lafayette office is open Monday - Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm and is available to assist you.
