All of our townhomes are subsidized through the HUD Section 8 Program, which means that residents only pay 30% of their adjusted income for rent. Our townhomes are equipped with cable, washer/dryer hook-ups, and access to a community hygiene pantry. There is also a resource computer lab available to all residents. In addition, Clare Gardens offers a range of family amenities, including a children's playground area, access to a Recreation Center complete with a gymnasium, indoor pool, and Kids' Cafe. The complex has 22 grouped townhome buildings with extensive grounds, and a resident resource center with a computer lab, where residents can take advantage of tutoring services, educational programs, and personal enrichment activities. A Resident Service Coordinator is also available to provide support and advocacy, and link residents to community services available in their area.

How to apply

Public housing is a form of housing tenure in which the property is usually owned by a government authority, either central or local. The federal Housing and Urban Development (HUD) department addressed concerns of distressed properties and blighted superblocks with revitalization and funding projects for the renewal of public housing to decrease its density and allow for tenants with mixed income levels.
