TELACU Las Palmas is a community of 66 apartments designed for senior citizens with low income. It is located in Alhambra, close to the 10 freeway and within walking distance to various amenities such as shopping centers, restaurants, movie theaters, bus stops, and the post office. The apartments offer air conditioning/heating and a fully equipped kitchen with a stove and refrigerator. There are grab bars in the bathrooms for added convenience. The community provides on-site laundry facilities, gated parking, and a large community room for residents to enjoy. To qualify, the head of household must be at least 62 years old at the time of application, and the household income must not exceed 50% of the HUD annual income limits. Rent is based on 30% of adjusted gross income. This apartment accepts HUD subsidies, and if you meet the eligibility criteria for low-income housing, you may be able to rent a one-bedroom apartment at this location.
