About This Casa Bella Costa Mesa
Casa Bella Costa Mesa is a complex of 75 apartments that provide affordable housing specifically designed for seniors who are 62 years old or older. Out of these 75 apartments, 74 are one-bedroom units, and all of them are deed restricted and government-subsidized. Due to high demand, interested parties may have to wait for up to three years to secure an apartment. If you are interested, you can contact the property managers and be added to the waiting list. Please note that this list is not a vacancy list, but rather a compilation of affordable housing options in Orange County that are deed restricted and government-subsidized.
How to apply
Public housing is a form of housing tenure in which the property is usually owned by a government
authority, either central or local. The federal Housing and Urban Development (HUD) department
addressed concerns of distressed properties and blighted superblocks with revitalization and funding
projects for the renewal of public housing to decrease its density and allow for tenants with mixed
income levels.
