About This Community Housing Alliance Inc
Our goal is to provide affordable housing to low-income individuals and families in the mid-peninsula area of Santa Clara county and San Mateo county. We plan to achieve this by acquiring, rehabilitating, and constructing housing units. In addition to operating these units, we also aim to encourage and support the development of more affordable housing options. Our focus is on serving individuals and families whose income falls at or below 50% of the median income.
How to apply
Public housing is a form of housing tenure in which the property is usually owned by a government
authority, either central or local. The federal Housing and Urban Development (HUD) department
addressed concerns of distressed properties and blighted superblocks with revitalization and funding
projects for the renewal of public housing to decrease its density and allow for tenants with mixed
income levels.
