The rent is calculated at 30% of their adjusted income, which can be further reduced by certain out-of-pocket medical expenses. The apartments are all one-bedroom, with washer/dryer hook-ups available if desired, and are handicap accessible. One unit is specifically designed for those confined to a wheelchair. Electric, water, and trash removal services are covered by the utilities provided. Small pets weighing under 30 lbs are welcome. Each floor has a laundry room, computer room, and exercise room. The lobby is also spacious and well-maintained. Each unit is approximately 540 square feet in size. Meals on Wheels provides one free meal per day between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, with a suggested donation of $3.50 if you can afford it.
