About This Chestnut Court Apartments

At present, there is no waiting list for our affordable housing program, which is a Section 42 Tax Credit LIHTC housing program. We offer 3, 4, and 5 bedroom apartments, subject to income limits and some student restrictions. Our owner has voluntarily elected to commit to Special-Needs Housing, including Large Households, Disabled Households, and Homeless Households, with a full definition of these commitments available at the Rental Office. We also accept Section 8 vouchers provided by housing authorities. Please contact us for more information. Our office hours are from 3pm to 6pm, Monday to Friday. We are part of the Washington State Low-income Housing Tax Credit affordable housing program (WSHFC), and we accept Housing Authority provided Housing Choice (Tenant-Based) Section 8 vouchers. We have 14 units of 3-bedroom apartments ranging from $379 to $804, and 10 units of 4-bedroom apartments ranging from $409 to $883. Additionally, we also offer two 5-bedroom apartments with rents ranging from $328 to $808. We have set-asides for disabled, homeless, and large families, and we encourage you to call us for more information. Our property is a Washington State Housing Finance Tax Credit property that provides affordable non-subsidized apartments for low-income households. Your rent is based on the non-subsidized Tax Credit rents listed, and your eligibility will depend on your income and availability of the units at the differing rents. Please note that income limits apply, and we are happy to discuss your eligibility with you. We also accept Section 8 vouchers provided by housing authorities. Our amenities include water, sewer, and garbage, and washer/dryer hookups with leased units available. We have assigned parking, and our property is pet-friendly. We are conveniently located close to schools, HWY I-82, the YMCA, Target, and Walmart. We have a nice rec room with a full kitchen, a playground, and our property is next to Kiwanis Park. Our third-floor units have vaulted ceilings, providing ample natural light.
