About This Arion Court
Arion Court provides 37 Single-Room Occupancy (SRO) units for individuals experiencing homelessness. These units have shared bathrooms and are located in downtown Seattle, conveniently close to public transportation and shopping areas. The units are approximately 175 square feet each and have a stove top, fridge, sink, and closet. The building has three floors that can be accessed by stairs and a large community room/kitchen area.
The eligibility criteria for Arion Court's transitional units for veterans are referral from the VA. Permanent units are primarily filled by tenants who have completed the transitional program. There are rarely any units available for public application. However, if there is a vacancy, it will be listed on the Available Units page of the website.
The rent for each unit is subsidized by Seattle Housing Authority, and residents pay no more than 30% of their income for rent. The building has amenities such as washer/dryer on each floor, shared bathrooms and showers, and utilities are included in the rent.
