Rio Concho Manor is a high-rise apartment complex consisting of 226 units. The apartments range from small efficiencies to one-bedroom units, and residents can enjoy privacy, security, and planned activities. The complex also offers on-site maintenance, a beauty/barber shop, and RV parking and hookups for residents and visitors. To be eligible to live at Rio Concho Manor, residents must be at least 62 years old and meet the requirements set forth in the lease. The complex is a HUD 202 and Section 8 facility, so qualifying residents can receive rental assistance. Each apartment at Rio Concho Manor features a walk-in closet, refrigerator, apartment-sized stove, carpeting, mini-blinds, a 24-hour emergency call system, and safety rails in the tub/shower. All utilities, except for telephone, are included in the rental price. Residents can also take advantage of the laundry room, recreation room, individual floor lobbies, covered parking, walking trails on the grounds, and transportation to shopping. Additionally, the McGowan's Dining Room serves lunch each day for a nominal fee. Rio Concho Manor is conveniently located within easy walking distance to downtown San Angelo, as well as many churches, medical facilities, parks, and shopping areas. The complex offers several different types of apartments, including studio apartments in the West Wing and East Wing, as well as one-bedroom apartments in the West Wing. Rental rates vary depending on the size of the apartment, and all utilities except for telephone and cable television are included in the rental price. Rio Concho Manor accepts HUD subsidies, and if you qualify for low-income housing and there are available apartments, your rent will be based on 30% of your Adjusted Gross Income.
