About This Housing Authority of the City of El Paso
The Housing Authority of the City of El Paso manages programs like Low Rent Public Housing and the Housing Choice Voucher Program - Section 8 to provide housing assistance to low-income residents. Starting on July 2nd, 2012, pre-applications for public housing (studios) will be accepted until further notice. To apply, you must be single, elderly, sixty-two (62) years of age or older, and/or disabled. You can apply online by visiting www.hacep.org and clicking on "On Line Applications" or you may use our computers by visiting our main office located at 5300 E. Paisano, El Paso, TX 79905. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. If needed, you may bring someone to assist you with the computer process.
