About This Schuylkill Community Action
Schuylkill Community Action takes a comprehensive and empowering approach to provide essential services to the economically disadvantaged residents of Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania. These services include housing rehabilitation and assistance with home ownership. Additionally, SCA manages three rental development projects that consist of a total of twelve rent-restricted apartment units. One of these projects is located at 225 North Centre Street in Pottsville and contains six apartments, while another is located at 112 Cherry Street in Port Carbon and comprises three apartments, with the first-floor apartment being accessible for those with disabilities. Finally, three townhouse-style rental units are situated at 6-8-10 S. William Street in Girardville.
