Kingston House provides comfortable and affordable living for elderly and disabled individuals who meet the eligibility criteria. The building features one-bedroom apartments for one or two people, six two-bedroom apartments for two to four people, 14 mobility-impaired units, and seven hearing-impaired units. Elevators, on-site laundry facilities, vending machines, furnished community rooms with televisions and computers, and a service coordinator are available for residents. A 24-hour answering service for maintenance emergencies is also provided, and the facility partners with York College Nursing Program to offer health education. Each apartment has a separate living room and bedroom(s), a range and refrigerator, wall-to-wall carpeting, a full bath, security and smoke detection systems, cable television hook-up, self-adjusting heat and air conditioning, and a medical alert system. This facility also accepts HUD subsidies, with rent based on 30% of your Adjusted Gross Income if you qualify for low-income housing and there are available apartments. One-bedroom apartments are available at this location.
