About This Tabor Community Services, Inc
Founded in 1968 by the Mennonite Community in Lancaster, Tabor was established to assist low-income families in securing housing and managing their finances. Guided by the belief in taking action to demonstrate concern for others and eliminate division within the community, Tabor has expanded its services to offer a broad range of solutions for housing and financial challenges. Additionally, Tabor has undertaken community revitalization projects in the area where it is headquartered in Lancaster City. Tabor's reputation for excellence has been recognized by numerous organizations, including the National Foundation for Credit Counseling, the National Alliance to End Homelessness, Central Penn Business Journal, the Lancaster County Board of Commissioners and Planning Commission, and the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency.
