Lancaster City Housing Authority (LCHA) offers affordable housing options to eligible individuals, couples, and families in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. LCHA owns and manages 564 public housing units, encompassing 259 family units and 305 elderly units spread across six different public housing developments, including Susquehanna Court, Franklin Terrace, Church Street Towers, Farnum Street East, and Scattered Sites I & II. Our housing options are available under the conventional Public Housing Program and multiple Section 8 Assisted Housing (Housing Choice Voucher) programs. Our commitment is to provide decent, safe, and hygienic housing to low and moderate-income individuals and families, retired persons, and people with disabilities. In addition to this, LCHA facilitates a significant modernization program and a wide range of resident initiative activities for public housing residents and Section 8 clients.
