About This Cleveland Housing Network

CHN endeavors to create affordable housing for low and moderate-income citizens of Cleveland, with a prime focus on generating avenues to escape poverty and offering opportunities for homeownership. They collaborate with 17 community development corporations (CDCs), a board of trustees rooted in the community, and a workforce comprising 122 individuals in the pursuit of their goal.

The federal Housing and Urban Development (HUD) department addressed concerns of distressed properties and blighted superblocks with revitalization and funding projects for the renewal of public housing to decrease its density and allow for tenants with mixed income levels.
