JSDD runs eleven programs across three counties in nine different communities. These programs provide group homes, supervised apartments, and supportive living arrangements in towns such as Millburn, Maplewood, Livingston, West Caldwell (2), Verona (2), West Orange, Parsippany, Whippany, and Summit. JSDD's kosher community residences blend in with the surrounding neighborhood, but they provide a unique home for adults with developmental disabilities. These individuals have hopes, dreams, talents, and spiritual connections, and they require support and assistance just like everyone else. JSDD's residential programs help them access community activities and resources in their hometowns and surrounding areas.
If you qualify for low-income housing and there are available apartments, you may be eligible for HUD subsidies at this location. Rent is based on 30% of your Adjusted Gross Income. Contact us for more details about our one bedroom apartments.
How to apply
Public housing is a form of housing tenure in which the property is usually owned by a government
