About This Caring Senior Housing II

CARING Senior Residential Services, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing affordable housing to seniors, manages a total of 46 units on the CARING Campus in Pleasantville. Of these units, 36 are subsidized by HUD and the remaining 10 are available at an affordable rate for seniors and young adults with disabilities who receive adult day health program services. Residents of these apartments have easy access to the CARINGplace Center, which offers a variety of supportive services for seniors. This allows them to live independently while still having access to the care and resources they need. For those interested in renting one of these units, eligibility is based on age and income. 26 units are subsidized by HUD and rent is based on the resident's income. The remaining 10 units are affordable but not subsidized and are exclusively available for seniors and young adults with disabilities who receive adult day health program services.
