About This Brand New Day

Brand New Day, Inc. is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1985 by a diverse group of individuals from the community and the Board and Executive Director of Elizabethport Presbyterian Center. The organization's goal is to improve the quality of life for low-to-moderate-income individuals, youth and families in the state of New Jersey. This is achieved through affordable housing development, preservation and management, advocacy for social equality, and neighborhood-based education and economic development. Brand New Day offers a range of programs and services that cater to renters, homeowners, micro-businesses, supporters and families in need. The organization's service areas include Elizabeth, Irvington, and East Orange, which are located within the Counties of Union and Essex.
