Paterson NJ Senior Public Housing Apartments is a facility that provides housing for seniors. There are a total of 100 apartments available for qualified applicants. The PHA has specific criteria that must be met in order to be considered qualified. These include being a citizen or eligible non-citizen, having an annual income that does not exceed the very low income limits established by HUD, and meeting or exceeding the tenant selection and suitability criteria. In addition, the Quality Housing and Work Responsibility Act of 1998 allows the PHA to admit families whose income does not exceed the low-income limit once the HA has met the annual 40% targeted income required of extremely low-income families.
