Office hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesdays. The office is closed on weekends and holidays. H.A.S Properties owns and operates 765 apartments to provide public and section 8 housing. To be eligible for public housing, your gross income must meet the lower income guidelines. Emergency housing is not available. Both housing rental programs offered by H.A.S. Properties require you to pay approximately 30 percent of your adjusted gross income for rent and utilities. Individuals who are at least six months away from turning 18 years old and meet the income guidelines may apply for public housing. Applicants must be at least 18 years old to sign a lease.
