Pecan Valley Apartments is situated close to two major hospitals, St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center and NEA Hospital. The complex is comprised of 24 one-bedroom units with carpeting throughout, mini blinds, central heat & air, and a range and refrigerator. Each apartment includes washer & dryer hook-ups and access to a coin-operated laundry facility in the Community Building. The Site Manager is available 24/7 for emergency services. The Office and Community Building is a historic home with facilities for residents, such as a large community room, dining room, full kitchen, and computer room with free access to the internet. Two units are designed for those with mobility impairments. Rent is calculated based on income, and medical expenses are deductible. The rent includes all utilities except telephone and cable TV. To apply for low rent housing with subsidized rates, contact Pecan Valley Apartments by phone or email. HUD subsidies are accepted, and rent is based on 30% of Adjusted Gross Income if available apartments meet low-income housing qualifications. One-bedroom apartments are available. Office hours are Monday to Thursday from 8:00 am to 2:30 pm.
