Catholic Charities Senior Communities offers a total of 151 rent-assisted one-bedroom apartments for older adults in Friendship Station and Friendship Village. These communities are located in Anne Arundel County, Maryland and can be easily accessed from Rt. 175, I-97, and the BW Parkway. Nearby amenities include shopping centers, churches, libraries, senior centers, and recreational activities. The on-site Service Coordinator provides educational and wellness programs, as well as information and referral services for all residents. Eligible residents can also receive services from the Catholic Charities Senior Support Services Program at a reasonable cost, which includes meals, housekeeping, laundry, personal care, and service management. The community offers various amenities such as an exercise class, a garden club, a resident association, a service coordination team, an on-site information and referral system, and senior support services. Other amenities include a hair salon, a resident computer center, a multipurpose room, a library, a laundry room, a personal emergency response system, an intercom, and a controlled entry system. The apartment accepts HUD subsidies, and if you qualify for low-income housing and they have available apartments, the rent is based on 30% of your Adjusted Gross Income.
