About This Basilica Place Senior Apartments
Basilica Place is a senior community owned by Catholic Charities that provides rent-assisted apartments for seniors and disabled individuals. The community offers 200 one- and two-bedroom apartments located in the Mount Vernon neighborhood of downtown Baltimore. The apartments are in close proximity to the Enoch Pratt Library and a block away from various restaurants, museums, and galleries located on Charles Street. Residents of Basilica Place have easy access to nearby shopping, places of worship, the library, senior center, and recreational activities.
The community's on-site Service Coordinator provides residents with information, referral services, as well as educational and wellness programs. For eligible residents, the Catholic Charities Senior Support Services Program is available at a reasonable cost. Basilica Place accepts HUD subsidies and rent is based on 30% of the resident's Adjusted Gross Income. Eligible individuals who qualify for low-income housing and available apartments can apply for this program. The community offers both one- and two-bedroom apartments.
