About This York County Community Action Corp.
More than 35 years ago, Yccac was established under the Economic Opportunity Act of 1964 with the goal of eradicating poverty in the midst of plenty. By providing long-term asset development opportunities, such as home ownership programs, and intangible assets, such as educational and health services, they work towards their mission. Yccac offers advocacy, training, transitional services, and income support to those who have the potential to become financially independent. Additionally, those with limited wage-earning potential, such as the elderly and individuals with disabilities, can receive assistance with basic necessities such as housing, heat and utilities, and food supplements.
How to apply
Public housing is a form of housing tenure in which the property is usually owned by a government
