About This Dogwood Plaza Senior Housing
Dogwood Plaza was constructed in 2004 to provide affordable housing for seniors aged 62 and above with very low incomes. The building, which has three floors, is situated in a residential area and comprises 50 one-bedroom apartments. The community boasts large landscaped outdoor areas and a walking path. We are conveniently situated near Boise's largest shopping area and a major food chain. The one-bedroom apartments have a complete kitchen with a full-size electric stove and refrigerator. The living and bedroom areas have carpets, large windows with mini blinds, and individual climate control, including paid heat and air conditioning. A limited number of accessible apartments are available for the mobility-impaired. The community offers a variety of amenities and services, including a full-time management and maintenance staff, a community room for regularly scheduled activities, an on-site laundry room, an exercise room, and after-hours electronically controlled building access. Other amenities include a large library, a TV room with puzzles and games area, a computer room with Wi-Fi, and community patio areas with BBQ accessibility. Additionally, raised garden boxes are available for residents. This apartment accepts HUD subsidies. If you qualify for low-income housing and they have available apartments, rent is based on 30% of your Adjusted Gross Income. Please call for more information.
