About This Emma Cares, Inc.

Emma Cares is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization that seeks to provide the highest quality housing in a unique home-sharing program for seniors aged 60 and above in a safe, warm, loving, sound, beautiful home-like milieu, so that they may Age Comfortably. They were established to gather women to explore and develop creative options for living together in communities. They provide housing, amenities and activities to women interested in spending less of their income on housing related expenses by sharing housing with one another. They are conveniently located in Decatur near Shopping & Entertainment and Public Transportation is a few steps away. Hours: Mondays through Saturdays 10am - 5pm.

How to apply

Public housing is a form of housing tenure in which the property is usually owned by a government authority, either central or local.
