About This Housing Authority of the City of Augusta
Housing Authority of the City of Augusta provides low income residents with housing assistance through the management of Low Rent Public Housing Apartments and the Housing Choice Voucher Program - Section 8.
These programs and rentals are income based and the eligibility requirements and/or restrictions are set by HUD. There may be a waiting list for housing or vouchers and at time these lists may close to new applicants due to the overwhelming need of housing assistance in the area. If you are in need of assistance please contact the Housing Authority directly to obtain more information about eligibility requirements, availability of assistance or rentals, the current status of waiting lists and their application procedures.

How to apply
Public housing is a form of housing tenure in which the property is usually owned by a government

projects for the renewal of public housing to decrease its density and allow for tenants with mixed
