About This Eleanor Levovitz Senior Citizens
The Eleanor Levovitz Senior Citizen Apartment complex was built in partnership between The Congregation of the Sons of Israel church and the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD), under Section 202/Section 8. Additionally, the complex welcomes qualified handicapped/disabled persons of any age, as defined by HUD.
For those interested in the complex, please contact the Eleanor Levovitz Senior Citizens for complete details on eligibility requirements, availability of rentals, and their application procedures for affordable housing at (732) 364-2304. The complex also accepts HUD subsidies, which means that if you qualify for low-income housing and there are available apartments, your rent will be based on 30% of your Adjusted Gross Income. There are one-bedroom apartments available at the location.
How to apply
Public housing is a form of housing tenure in which the property is usually owned by a government
authority, either central or local. The federal Housing and Urban Development (HUD) department
addressed concerns of distressed properties and blighted superblocks with revitalization and funding
projects for the renewal of public housing to decrease its density and allow for tenants with mixed
income levels.
